Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Benson ADU Fort Worth
We’re a small crew by design. Every person you see on your job site is someone we’ve vetted, trained, and trusted with the keys to your property. No anonymous subcontractors, no rotating cast of day laborers. The team that shows up for your ADU, home addition, or room addition in Fort Worth is the same team that walks the site with you at the estimate. That consistency matters when you’re adding square footage to your home. It’s how we keep our written price promises honest and our 365-Day Done Right Promise meaningful. These are the people who do the work.
Our People

Troy Eastman, Owner & Lead Builder
Troy has spent his career in residential construction, and he’s the first to tell you that building an ADU is not the same as building a deck. He handles the pre-construction work himself: site walks, utility mapping, setback checks, and the written price you receive before any work starts. Troy’s the one who puts the number on paper and stands behind it. When he’s not quoting projects, he’s on job sites checking layout, door swing, and panel alignment. He’d rather explain what a certificate of occupancy is than assume you already know. Off the clock, Troy restores old hand tools and has a soft spot for Texas barbecue joints off the beaten path.
Marcus R., Senior Installer
Marcus leads the framing and structural work on our prefab and site-built ADU projects. He’s been with Benson ADU Fort Worth since the location opened, and he’s built with every brand we offer, including Abodu, Cover, Dvele, Mighty Buildings, Boxabl, Plant Prefab, and Tuff Shed. His specialty is panel alignment: getting prefab wall and roof panels seated correctly so the building envelope stays tight through Texas summers and the occasional ice storm. Marcus is certified in forklift operation and crane signaling, which matters when a prefab module is swinging over your backyard. He keeps a detailed notebook of every project he’s worked on, with notes on what went smoothly and what he’d do differently next time.
Dana K., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call (682) 204-9686. She manages scheduling, permit paperwork, material orders, and the digital invoices you pay by link. Dana came from a commercial construction office, so she knows how to read a set of plans and catch missing details before they become change orders. She tracks every project’s written price against actual progress, and she’s the reason your estimate doesn’t quietly drift upward. Dana also coordinates the free second visit if any covered repair fails under our written guarantee. She’s unflappable, which helps when Fort Worth summer storms throw a week of schedules sideways. Ask her about her rescue greyhound; she will absolutely tell you.
Leo T., Apprentice
Leo is the newest member of the crew and works under Marcus on framing, flashing, and finish carpentry. He’s enrolled in a state-approved apprenticeship program and spends evenings on coursework while putting in full days on Fort Worth job sites. Leo handles the detail work: window flashing, door hardware, baseboard, and the small fixes that separate a tight build from a sloppy one. He’s also the one who takes the before-and-after photos you’ll receive with your project closeout. Leo grew up in Texas and has family in the trades, so construction isn’t a fallback career for him. It’s the plan. He’ll be the first to admit he’s still learning, and we’d rather he ask a question than guess. That’s how we keep the Done Right Promise real.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Benson ADU Fort Worth project runs on the same rules, whether it’s a 300-square-foot backyard studio or a full home addition. We give you a written price before any work starts. You know the dollar range before you ever tap call. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if something isn’t right within a full year, we make it right, and that promise is stamped on every project in writing. Our crew shows up background-checked and in uniform, so you know exactly who’s walking onto your property. We build with brands you can research yourself, including Abodu, Dvele, Boxabl, and James Hardie cladding. And when a covered repair fails, you get a free second visit, not a voicemail loop. That standard doesn’t change from one house to the next in Fort Worth.
